I need to integrate PHP to my site so customers can start doing stuff by themselves w/o me. I wanted to test it first. Basically run a API i believe from my site that pulls back to the companys server.

google should find some stuff. It's been a while but my last project I found all kinds of sample code and nice write-ups for PHP and how to do the call outs.

The trick is learning how to tie together the different callouts with the home code and all that. In the end the only way to learn it is to just dive in. I learned it by editing existing sites.

+1....also look into Zend Framework as it allows you to do things function by function.

PHP documentation is at http://www.php.net/
