One of my clients (The Red Tail Project) published this article in their Summer 2008 newsletter. Thought you might like to see it.

The Tuskegee Airman were important members of world war 2. It's a shame that poeple living today can remember a time when we segregated our own based on color. They fought and died for the same country we all love. A country that shunned their noses at them for so long and in some places, still does.
I'll have to look for his book.

Thanks Lizzie. I'd love to chat with you someday about your business with the Red Tail Project folks!

I REALLY appreciate you posting that article for me! My Grandfather was such a great person...he is greatly missed! His intermet is this coming Wed. 9/24 at Arlington National Cemetery. I am not sure protocol but i'll snap some pics and post'em up!

No problem! I was about to throw away my copy when I saw this article, I recognized the name immediately from your post. Let me know if any of your family would like copies. I got a whole bunch of cool stuff I could round up for shadowboxes or scrapbooks. Look for at Hooters or the Spot. I'd love to chat.
