Sucks. The blue people sound like Jackoffasaurs from south park when they get excited. Maybe it is cooler in 3d

We're waiting for it to come to the iMax to see it in 3D...I don't care about the story line cuz it looks to girly to me but the graphics in 3D should kick

Saw it at IMAX 3D. Awesome graphics. Would see it again if it wasn't for the crowds and wait.

Maybe I expected too much out of it. I wasn't impressed at all

We thought it was pretty cool- I mean, yes, some of it was a stretch, but that's sci-fi. And the plot could have been more developed, like some have already said, but it definitely brought us into a journey into another world. At least on the big screen. And, we didn't think it looked at all like other CGI movies where you could definitely tell it was cartoony. IMO.

This is true. But in terms of story, that doesn't change the suckage. I'll drop the coin this weekend to see it in theaters, but I'm still gonna be mad about how the aliens sound.

I thought Avatar was great... I mean, yeah, it's obviously Dances with Furries and every other going native story, but it's a BEAUTIFUL film, with great, seamless cgi, and the 3D version is worth the extra scratch to watch. The characters were very much archetypes, very static for the most part, and you basically already knew the story going in, but that's besides the point. The story is not going to win any writing awards, but the movie was definitely worth watching on the big screen.
