Avoid Trick Trucks in Chantilly - July 2, 2010, 05:59 PM

Took my SUV there to get a light bar installed and 4 lights wired up. I could have probably done it myself, but I wanted the professional look and I was prepared to pay for it. Dropped it off at 9 am and at 1130 I got a call that they had stripped the bolts to the roof rack and were unable to get them out. Long story short I picked the truck up at 5 and they were unable to remove the bolts. They blamed it on a faulty nissan installation of the bolts, but I smell bull shit. They were the one to wrench them and bust them, but they are refusing to remove them because it will be to much work (will have to remove the headliner). I am sure some people have had good results but in general its a shady shop and the manager didn't give two sh!ts about my problem. Avoid them.

Sad to say but ever since Brian left that place you're not the first horror story I've heard about. I hope they get it cleaned up and put that place back on track!

God Speed Jeff! You'll never be forgotten.

What professional installer doesn't have a HeliCoil Kit in the shop nowadays for exactly these purposes.

That alone screams "Pass" to me.

I went there years ago to get my 24s put on my Avalanche and they did a fine job. Sorry to hear about your experience. I know how aggrevating that kind of stuff could be.
