I have to be in the Capon Bridge area very early tomorrow morning on personal business, and will be at loose ends from 8:30-1:30. I already checked; the nearest Starbucks is back in Winchester, and I alread know about Romney Cycles.

Springfield Grade Road looks interesting, at least on a map--any ideas as to how to kill the other four hours??

My Grandparents live on the other side of Capon Bridge. There is lots of water that runs through there. Take a fishing pole, a blanket and cop a squat somewhere.

There are some great roads out that way. Take your bike and ride!

Other than the errand stuff, that's about all I did. *Wicked* nice roads/even wickeder big, slow trucks. Had a blast, and by the end of the summer, will have a place to roost out there at the end of ~4 miles of WV-grade "unimproved."

I'll put up a pic of the dirt road chicken strips when the disposable comes back; driving 550 pounds and 1200 liquid-cooled cc's down that is a little different from what it would have been like on something actually designed for the job, but that was a kind of sick fun, too....
