Bank Robbery in Rosslyn - January 11, 2008, 03:10 PM

So I'm looking out my window and watching the FBI take fingerprints off the door to BB&T in Rosslyn. Apparently the guy robbed the place and ran across the street to the Holiday Inn. Anyone know anything about this? Perhaps listening to a scanner?

I'm rather entertained by the whole spectacle since I metro'd in to work today. Several people who have cars in the Holiday Inn and our garage downstairs are not so happy as the cops have blocked off the area.

No weapon displayed or implied. Passed a note to the teller and I think the note may have said something about a family member making him do it.

Bank Robbery in Springfield
The Navy Federal Credit Union was robbed on Friday, January 11 at approximately 10:15 a.m. A man walked into the bank located at 6225 Brandon Avenue and demanded money from the teller. The 21-year-old Washington DC woman turned over the cash and was not injured. He was last seen walking toward Commerce Street.
The suspect was described as in his 30s, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall with a stocky build and medium complexion. He was wearing a black knit cap, sunglasses, green jacket, black gloves and possibly blue jeans.

Calm down. It's just Myke and I. We're bored since AOL laid us off and looking for some harmless daytime entertainment. We'll put the money back, promise

And Marc took off for home about and hour prior to the robbery... Was "home" during the other one... Vehicle habit has pushed him to new lows.

All in good fun.
