I'm jelly. Why can't I drive around in a Lambo dressed as Batman?? (besides lack of the requisite funds)

About a month or so ago the dude was seen on 495 with a flat. Everyone knows the Batmobile has run-flat tires!!

Also kinda funny for not having a license plate. How many people dress as Batman when they drive, and better yet, how many convertible Lambos are there in the DC area?

You know this brought something to mind...
Every time I'm out in Cali, especially SoCal, I see exotics running around all the time without plates.
No front and nothing in the rear except a dealer or customization shop logo.
And these clearly are not test drives. Cops don't even bat an eye.

In California, if you buy a new vehicle, you have up to 6 months to register it.
The wealthy lease new vehicles every 6 months and never have plates.
Steve Jobs even did this.

I was in Alabama for work and i experienced this also with their rental cars. The rental had no plate. I was like "I'm not getting in this car with out a plate!!!!"

What i really was saying was "I'm black, and i'm gonna get locked up for driving a stolen car with no plates"

They insisted that it is the state law, that rentals do not need plates. Just keep your rental papers in your car. I didn't believe it, and looked it up online before signing the forms. And they were 100% correct.

I concur.

I wouldn't care if it was state law - I still would have insisted they give me something. A paper plate. A dealer plate. Something dammit because I'm not giving Beaufort K Slowhand a reason to profile and pull me over.

UPDATE An anonymous tipster says he knows why this happened and the answer is extremely awesome.
I've got a buddy in the MCPD and he told me this guy's story is actually pretty cool – he's crazy wealthy (off what I don't know), but he apparently goes to hospitals and meets up with sick kids as Batman to brighten their day. The tags were in his backseat because he couldn't get the poor people screws to work on his $800k car. As to why he was still in costume when he got pulled over, the latex suit is apparently not so easy to get in/out of, so he has to do it at home. Unfortunately he did not talk like Christian Bale or reference Commissioner Gordon and the bat signal at any time during the stop.
