Become an MSF RiderCoach - June 14, 2011, 10:10 AM

Is anyone interested in becoming an MSF RiderCoach? I see a lot of enthusiasm for riding on this board and Virginia could use some more talented RiderCoaches. There are opportunities across Northern Virginia from Lord Fairfax to Alexandria to Fredericksburg. Help train the next generation of riders to ride smoothly, correctly and safely. Or summed up in a nutshell- train riders and make money.

If you're interested, check out the link below. Also, feel free to throw out any questions or PM me as you see fit.

I'll do it when the RiderCoach program is offered at other locations. My schedule doesn't give me the luxury of 4 consecutive weekends in Richmond.

Stillie

I fully appreciate your position. I've been campaigning to get a RiderCoach Prep Course in Northern Virginia for over a year now. Let's expand this thread just a little. Who would be interested in becoming a RiderCoach if a class was held in Northern Va?

Great! If you know anyone else interested in taking the class in Richmond, please please please pass on the information. We are definitely in need of more good coaches in Northern Virginia.

I'm out, then.

You're talking about the basic right? They might make you take it again as one of the pre-req's. I took the BRC last year when I was still thinking of doing this, before I found out that the RCCP was only taught in Richmond. It was an interesting experience for everyone involved.

It's also an additional insurence discount to be a coach.

Some sites will let you attend for free or a reduced price on a standby basis if you're interested in becoming a coach.

I took the BRC in like 2001, and the ERC shortly after. I recently (early 2010) re-took the BRC, and it was a good refresher. I'll let you know when i see a response on the app.

Not for me. Apparently just being old and having ridden forever means I can't get it any cheaper than I already do. :lol
