Belmont Ridge Road - What was going on? - June 4, 2008, 05:24 AM

Yesterday about 5 PM, I think every Loudoun County Officer was at an abandoned trailer site on Belmont Ridge Road. There were lots of old cars in the field behind it that I had never noticed before, but the officers were concentrating on the old gray trailer/storage thing.

Anybody know what that was all about?

I just spoke to a very close friend who is a Loudoun County deputy, and all he could say that was that an investigation was in progress.

He couldn't tell me anything else. And he would if he could.

Right up the 1 hole.

No. Near the entrance for Belmont Green. Just past Luck Stone as you go toward HWY 7.

Anyone figure out what this was? Also, Loudoun must be the new hot spot for police activity. Last night when I turned off of Evergreen Mills Road onto The Woods Road, there were about 15-20 of Loudoun's finest in full riot gear in that little pull off gravel circle. Not sure if it was a training session or something more interesting.
