Best PS2/XBOX racing game? - November 17, 2006, 09:35 AM

Ok, it's about that time of year for holiday gifts to start comming in. What's everyones opinion on the best car racing game and best motorcycle racing game out there? I've only had car racing games in the past looking for a motorcycle game and few more car games. I've spent countless hours playing Grand Turismo 3 which is considered among one the best out there. For rally racing World Rally champiionship is pretty good as well.

Some games I'm considering Moto GP3, Tourist Trophy, Colin Mcrae 3, Grand Turismo 4 and a few others. Any input would be apprecaited thanks.

I have Tourist Trophy and love it, but don't have anything to compare it to.

PS2- Tourist Trophy and MotoGP4 are the two best motorcycle games.

Car games...Gran Turismo is good along with Ridge Racer (if you like drifting)

Personally I was always a fan of Project Gotham Racing 1 and 2. Kudis challenge was the shit!! Also liked the Need for Speed games!!

Any MotoGP game for either system is prefect for the bikes.

God Speed Jeff! You'll never be forgotten.

There's a handlebar out for MotoGP...which may be used with TT as well. I have yet to see one anywhere but if someone does...please post up!

BTW, in MotoGP 4 the button pressure is directly related to the throttle or brake input which is pretty cool and they have the 125, 250, and GP machines instead of just GP machines.

Burnout Revenge http://www.ea.com/official/burnout/revenge/us/

Need For Speed Carbon http://www.ea.com/nfs/carbon/us/home.jsp

neither are traditional racing games and if i had to pick only one, its Burnout Revenge, without a doubt

I love the Burnout series. Love it.

Need for Speed: Underground is a nice tuner game. I don't care much for the second one because there is a lot of free roaming driving around the city that just is a huge waste of time.
