Best route to/from Myrtle Beach? - June 21, 2012, 07:23 AM

So I figure a few folks here have been to Myrtle. What's the best and fastest route you've found? On the way down my phone navigation had me routed down a handful of 2 lane roads. Between unmarked blind 90 degree turns and slow back country drivers...it was not the fastest route.

Anybody have some good suggestions?

Thanks!

Take 17 to 140 to 40 to 95. Thats the way I always went. Just about 5 hours from my place at 15 mph over.

Sounds like a plan. Took us like 8.5 hours. Too many stops, too many slow roads.

Thanks!!!
