Bicycle Trainer question - January 1, 2013, 01:39 PM

I need some advise on a new bike trainer. It needs to give good resistance while being quite. Does anyone have experience with the Kurt Kinetic series?

Short story long- When winter hits my wife and I throw the bicycles on trainers because she doesn't ride alone and hates the cold. I have a cyclops fluid 2 trainer that's held up remarkably over the years. My wife is using my old blackburn mag trainer. The problem is my neighbors downstairs have a new kid and claim the noise from the mag trainer drives junior crazy. While I could just point out to the HOA rules that say I can make as much damned noise as I want until 10pm, I tend to be nice to my neighbors.

Definitely the trainer. I've got a slick on it for using the trainer.
