I'm not smart enough to know whether this is real or not; I'm just a guy looking to save gas money like everyone else. It stinks of BS though....

Hey, with references to free energy, Nikola Tesla, and "secrets" which "they" don't want you to know about how could you possibly go wrong?

Of much greater concern is this person's flagrant use of dihydrogen monoxide (DHMO, which he lists as HHO), a chemical which has been found in every single cancerous tumor every studied (http://www.dhmo.org/).

Personally, though, I would trust this guy not to sell me an ineffective product, wouldn't you? After all, "Ozzie Freedom" is clearly not a made up name. Think how envious all of your colleagues will be when you and Ozzie are getting 60% better gas milage!

In short:

Almost any lipid can be converted to biodiesel if you process it with a strong enough base (they usually use NaOH, I think). Hydrocarbons is hydrocarbons.

Oh...so this wasn't sarcasm then?

okay.

1) You will not get better gas milage from this device.

2) DHMO is the same thing as HHO which is the same thing as H2O (look familiar?) aka water. It will not give you cancer.

If you bought the device and then tried to get your money back, I feel certain you would get shafted. That would be why carefully describes his customers as "experimenters." If you really, really need better gas milage ride your bike more.

The water part I know. The cancer joke I got. The rest of it was just goofy enough to make me wonder. AND I am bikeless. They are dangerous and I would never ride one. I just pose on this board for the wimens.

Water is not combustible. You would need a whole new way of converting water to usable energy. Isn't that common sense?

If you belive that site, I got a bridge to sell you in Brooklyn

Go down to "water torch"...

My opinion: Many processes of producing power have been invented.. until lately only a very few could even contend, cost-wise, with the fossil fuel combustion engine. This may change dramatically in the next few years as 20mpg in a truck will begin to cost $6+...

For now, I'd say it's plausible that this could be developed as an alternative, but it's probably simply not cost effective enough yet... or GM would be mass producing them.
