Big East's Slow Painful Death. - October 25, 2011, 04:13 PM

Game Over Man!

Big 12 could accept West Virginia Mountaineers as early as Tuesday, source says - ESPN

WVU to Big 12.

Big East took a big blow back in 2003 Losing Miami, VT and BC, and booted Temple

They picked up Cinci, Louisville, South Florida, and UConn.

Recently Pitt, and Syracuse for the ACC. With no pickups to date.

Now the biggest name they have left and most successful program over the past 5 years.

UConn has openly said they want to leave, and Louisville has gotten interest from the Big 12 also.

So who forms a new conference capable of getting the auto bid now?

:ohno:
I don't know what the hell is happening with the Big East. They used to be one of the premier conferences.
Now they're just a joke.
If this keeps up, they're going to become a D2 college conference.
