Blue SV and no rider - April 13, 2006, 10:35 PM

On my way home from the Spot (28 towards 66) and I see a blue, naked SV parked just before the on-ramp to 66. Didn't see a rider anywhere. I went further down 28 to see if the rider was walking towards the gas stations... nobody walking around with their helmet... I figured it might've been one of the SV's at the Spot earlier... maybe AJ711? Gonna help out a fellow rider if I could.

Truth: Marines are the Ambassadors in Blue, they can be found in all "climes" and place.

...But, do you know how a Marine "rates" the countries and cities he's toured?

...By how easy it is to get laid, get drunk, and get in a fight.

...Go figure.

Negative, not me.

I just rode past the same bike on my way home from KPs. Naked SV of somesort. Didn't stop as I didn't see any signs of a rider down or anything. I ride right past that same area on my way to work in 5 hours, so I'll check again.

Couldn't tell if it was a 1000 or 650. Area was kind of dark. I live all of 2 miles from the bike, so if anyone needs a place to store it, my garage can be open for you.

Maybe ran out of gas?

Wasn't paying attention to that issue.

Maybe a P-class rider got caught by the wrong person?

I can get dressed (again) and ride back out there and see what's up. I don't have a truck, so I can't easily get it off the street to somewhere safer.

Blue 05 SV 650. Just sitting there. Struck me as odd, but I wasn't about to stop in the dark, with no one around at 2:30 this morning.

I gotta stop by the NFCU at lunch or on my way home, so I'll see if the bike is still there.
