Army is more hardcore.... wed just get out kick the 155 if it didnt blow up...it was disarmed...if it blew up.....it was armed

not me...Indiana national gaurd who were on missions with us (usually Rat truck and an extra gun truck) the post was more or less sarcasm..but did happen on more than 1 occasion...

So you're saying when I deploy I shouldn't kick IED's?? So I've been practicing this method by kicking sleeping homeless people has been for nothing?!?!

You see, if they chase you = IED explosion. If they stay still = not armed.

I was assigned to a national guard unit, and we still had ravens, robots, and all manner of detection equipment ... so I find it difficult to believe that anybody would go up to a PIED and physically touch it to confirm
