On Monday this house outside the north end of Leesburg blew up. It was still under construction and there were three workers inside laying carpet. They were not hurt. They were using gas heaters to stay warm. I think the heaters may have been connected to the home's gas supply rather than an external tank. The back side got blown completely off, the left side got pushed out, the floor in the front left side of the house was lifted 3 feet and the drywall was knocked off the garage wall. I now sit there for an 8-hour security shift to keep people away. The house across the street burned down a year ago. One Fire Marshall said they couldn't pay him to live in that neighborhood.

I do part-time security and private investigation for my mother's company.

I would be counting my blessings if I was those carpet guys!

ok, I know which one u are. Rixride and I live there. We were wondering why they needed security. So far no problems here! I was able to see all the options they picked for the first time though, just by walking in the back yard! The fire marshall is a really cool guy, we give them a lot of work here!

What saved them was that they were upstairs. And they still got knocked across the room they were in.
