Bose Earphones - May 12, 2010, 09:41 AM

Ok so I went out to best buy to look for earphones... As you all know my budget was $50 yea I said it WAS! LOL ..

Ended up purchasing these puppy's

BOSE

Basically here is the outcome..

They fell great with the helmet, cant really feel them on. Sound is excellent just as you would expect from Bose... the Mic button work and feels good with riding gloves on and it not sensitive to mishaps with your jacket or helmet.. So here goes...

Pro: these earphones are actually good for your ears.. they cancel about 90% of the outer noise/ racket from the muffler. Hence you don't need the volume way up high.... with my apple one i had the volume at 100% with this ones honestly I'm at 50% and sound is perfect....

Con: The freaking control does not have the option to adjust the volume level...ummm yea that's about it!!! ohh yea they run about $130 LOL that too!!

and here is the Mic

Works with Iphone 3gs

Here you can see that these don't stick out like norm earphones... they are actually slant for a better fit and better feel with the helmet on...

HAS ANY ONE TRIED OUT THE "DIDDY BEATS" these are the one like the Dr Dre ones but they actually have the full control w/mic?

Funny. I tried the Dre Beats and they hurt my ears with the helmet on or off! Damn things need to be buried in your ears. Still stuck with the Apple buds. I also tried a Motorola Motorokr S9 wrap band style and it worked great. Actually felt real good with the helmet on. Con...no access to the controls. Kept my iPhone in my vest pocket in my jacket. Wish there was some set of gloves with bluetooth controls or something.

They sounded nice and deep, but I returned them to the Apple store. Volume was really loud and they knocked out the outside noise real good. A big plus was the use of the flat wire. Never got tangled up and laid nicely up against your shirt. They really just felt uncomfortable. Really deep fitting drivers.

I got a demo of these at the Apple store. Now these are amazing! But the price is just way up there. But you get what you pay for. I guess if your willing to drop a few thousand on a system for your car or truck, than dropping a half a bill or something on your head makes sense.

I don't get it...

Why would you want to distract yourself from your surroundings by playing music directly on to your ears, but on top of that, you get the ones that cancels 90% of the outside noise.

I guess I am old school

Shure ear phones FTW

Bose is over priced for inferior quality...
