BRING YOUR DOG OUT DAY - May 29, 2008, 11:51 AM

Anyone wanna bring their dogs out?

i remember bumping into Boom at Vienna and it was pleasant seeing someone i knew instead of being around weird dog owners that kicks peoples dogs.

Please post up on ideas and when you would be interested. don't worry about your dog being registered or having what nots, just bring them out.

i was thinking VIENNA location because its cool...but i heard reston is good too.

VIENNA DOG PARK AS THE FIRST .NET DOG MEET.

Location: 38.888795,-77.274324

I'd love to do this. I've taken my dog to the dog park off of Baron-Cameron. Is this the one you're referring to in Reston, Will? I'm off weekends this month, so if possible, let's do it this month!

I go to Vienna (nottoway) often, fenced in, shade, water, poop bags, mulch ground. Only one I've been to so far. There is another one in Oakton that I heard is ok, not as good though.

The one off Baron Cameron is gravel. I would be up for hitting either one.

Not sure they will let my dogs go to play because they are a so-called dangerous breed. But all that have met my kids know they are nuttin but attention whores....

Been to Nottoway for a year now, dog spats are pretty few and far between. Only once did a lady announce at the gate asking if there were any pit bulls in (presumably would not have brought her dog in had there been one). Blu does great in there, constant roll-ons, bumping and herding.

The one in Reston (off Baron Cameron) has no breed restrictions. It's crushed slate stone, which is supposed to be good for the feet of the dogs. I'm down.

I've taken my dog to both Herndon and Reston. The parks are nice as long as there are no sick dogs for your dog to catch anything. I'm not worried about the dangerous breed action after my dog played with the two Rotts and another Pit.

19.8 mph with crosswinds, damp conditions and no other animal to motivate him for the chase...he had more in reserves for SURE!
