Poor little guy. If you live in the area, keep an eye open for him, don't run him over please. He is small and harmless.

Intersection of Sudley rd and Linton Hall rd and roads nearby.

Is it just a cub? Or are there several of them running around together? Hopefully, if it's just a cub by itself, someone gets ahold of a wildlife place around here, it won't survive long playing in traffic Let it grow big and healthy and help bring back a decent population of Black Bears around here. They are good eats, if a little greasy

It's not a cub. Nor is it a full grown adult.

If it were possible I'd arm it with an AR15. lol

The county is trying to capture it so I'm sure it wont be around here much longer. All for not as the same bear or another will eventually show up again. This is third bear in this area.
What cracks me up is people go right past him walking, on bikes, etc have no clue he is within feet of them. That sucka gots some real Ninja skills.

They do end up nuisances, so getting it somewhere other than in town is a good thing. I've had 3 shots at black bears, never pulled the trigger. One was hillside to hillside with a .243 at about 300yds, but I didn't want to shoot through the brush and risk a wound shot. One the mother and cub kind of split up and went around me, probably within 15 feet, and I couldn't take a mother with a cub, and the last one also had a cub with her. I'll get one this year though
