Had a dentist appt this AM that lasted for about 35-45 minutes.

Come back to my bike and there is literally a fresh dusting of pollen sitting on my bike...front to rear. my seat is yellow. everything is yellow. Typically you park your car for the day and come back and it's COVERED in pollen but I didn't know it works THAT fast!!!!!!!!!

I threw on my sunglasses and you could just see pollen floating through the air it was crazy.

So yeah, the pollen level today is probably at CODE RED or whatever...

Yeah, noticed it too. Was like WTF while riding to work. Ride through the ciy so would have my visor up at stops or low speed. It was like I got a moneyshot in my eyes. FML.

man during the spring I envy people w/o allergy issues...

It's that commercial for claritin where everything is hazy and foggy looking. then you take claritin and they peel back the screen....well when you take allergy medicine it's not like that....shit don't work.

You still have symptoms.

God bless any of you that don't have allergies.
You simply do not understand the misery. It's just like having the flu without the fever and aches.
Your head constantly feels a bit hazy, eyes burning and itching, nose like a faucet.
I literally refuse to go outside on some days when I see the pollen is too bad.

“Any man who tries to be good all the time is bound to come to ruin among the great number who are not good. Hence a Prince who wants to keep his authority must learn how not to be good, and use that knowledge, or refrain from using it, as necessity requires”.

+1 billionnnnn. allergies suck so bad.

I've had seasonal (spring) allergies since I can remember.

I've went through Claritin, Zyrtec, Allegra back when they were all prescription then went non-prescription and started sucking.

I'm now on Xyzal and Flonase which actually seem to be doing pretty good this year. I'm just waiting for that day where I don't want to leave bed because I can't breathe and my eyes are watering so bad I can't see... it will come.... it always does...

When the weather man says "It's spring and its going to rain the next week", most people are sad; I am exuberant.

Word. it can be dangerous too especially on a motorcycle. I usually pop an antihistamine or two before rolling out, but today I got caught by surprise. Try bullying your way up Georgia Ave during rush hour sneezing with itchy eyes and you can't rub them with your gloves, cuz your gonna cause more problems.

That about sums it up...it's like having a COLD but you don't feel all germyish (new words FTW)....

It's funny b/c I'll ride my bike all day, but as soon as I get in the truck...I don't roll windows down at all...Straight AC in the spring. But MID MAY all of this goes away for me. It's just APRIL that I dread. Used to live in Atlanta and the season came earlier so it was better than here b/c by now it's almost down to low levels.
