Sr. Industrial Security Specialist

The primary functions of the Sr. Industrial Security Specialist are to provide oversight of the National Industrial Security Program with respect to DARPA Programs. Develop and maintain liaison with Government agencies comprised of the Department of Defense components (WHS, DSS, DITRA), the intelligence communities (DNI, NSA, DOE) and the National Industrial Security community comprised of several hundred DoD contractors to identify industrial security issues and present problem solving solutions. Specifically deal with issues that impact the safeguarding and protection of DARPA classified information such as AIS processing and storage, classification management, and program close-outs and transitions. Prepare and coordinate National Interest Determination (NID) packages that include a checklist, associated correspondence and background justification paper for Government approval. Track NID status until final approvals are received. Prepare, coordinate staffing and obtain approval for DD Form 254. Ensure contract numbers, access requirements and the contractor's facility clearance are routinely validated. Closely coordinate with DARPA and external contracting agents (Military Departments, and other USG agencies such as MDA, DOE) to resolve DD 254 issues that may impact a DARPA performer and program. Facilitate and coordinate the DARPA Security Review Program impacting all SAP programs; responsibilities include scheduling and logistics, notifications to all DARPA performers supporting SAP programs, coordination of matrix support as required, management of review criteria, maintenance of SAP inspection records repository and database, follow-up with responsible PSO/PSR on corrective actions to resolve findings and recommendations, quality control of the review process and trend analysis of the review results. On a routine basis, the following administrative oversight must be accomplished in order to meet the National Industrial Security Program requirements to support a DARPA program. Additionally, close coordination with the DSS, key management personnel of the DARPA performer and the DARPA technical staff personnel is required in order to execute the tasks in timely manner. Actions are: Verify contractor status for Facility Security Clearances (FCL) with DSS; Verify contractor visit authorizations with Program Managers that are supporting their program. Coordinate all aspects of the facility security clearance sponsorship packages with DSS, the contractor and the DARPA Technical staff until final approval. Maintain a database of central records for all approved NIDs, FCL requests and DD 254s issued by DARPA, other agents and performers.

Just make sure that CACI actually has the contract first. They have that habit of hiring before they get the contract. When they dont get it, you you dont have a job anymore. Just sayin'

Princeton information does the same thing. I moved back in 07 with a job all lined up only to find out they hadn't procured the funds for the additional position. Made for an interesting couple of weeks for sure.
