Camaro Exhaust - November 19, 2012, 01:11 PM

This is a car related question. I have a 2010 Camaro and have a full JBA exhaust from headers all the way to mufflers that I need to install. I don't have enough time to do it myself. Does anyone know a local shop that can do this? Based on the Camaro forums they say it should take about 2.5 hours for someone who is mildly mechanically inclined. So I figure a 1 day turn around at a shop shouldn't be unreasonable.

Roberts Exhaust. He has done all 3 of my trucks, my uncles truck. He used to be in woodbridge, but now is further south to help with his ailing mom. Great guy!

If they say you can do it in 2.5 hours, it shouldn't take a shop over an hour. Are you changing the headers too or is it just a header-back?

Cat/header back is easy.

I can't believe that Robert doesn't do headers anymore. He did my buddies on a twin cat 97 which is a much bigger PITB than the 2010s.

Aha, yeah that'll take a minute on a V8. It'll sound beast though.

Ah Z/28's. Miss mine sometimes. Miss the money I dropped in it more I think lol.

Maybe Hi-Tech in Chantilly? The wife asked them about installing headers on her ISF.

Man the 2010 Engine bay is soooo open compared to 4th gen camaros. I've done headers on my car 2 times but never done a 2010. They can't be very hard to do I would imagine. Just make sure you keep your O2 sensors and keep cats because VA emissions are a bitch.

I did use a shop in chantilly to do a cat welding job like 5 years ago. But their welding job was sloppy...however they are one of the only shops around here that does Camaros.

Now I can't remember the shops name...i'll edit it when I remember

ah this is them EB3 Motorsports - Manassas, Va but they moved to manassas

Ya, I got high flow cats. I heard that the O2 sensors can break easily if you don't use antisieze on them. I would do it if I had the time. The Camaro forums have a whole DIY on the headers and exhaust. I'm looking for about about $250 to spend...
