Any particular reason why?

I'm just looking for something to haul things and be good for trackdays.. and less than 15k and not super high (>100k mileage).

Not going to be a daily driver or anything.

Something is probably unsightly about the Ford - been on the market a while or was already resold - 2005 Ford F150 in Woodbridge, VA 22191 | Buy Sell Auto Mart

If you hunt around you should be able to find a 2008-10 F150 for around 17-18ish and would be a good truck for what you want it for.

Hmm.. yeah it being for sale for 3 months is interesting.. and looks like the Titan was in an accident with a deer up in NYC... which also raises a red flag about flood damage..

Well, then lets turn this into a "Find Rob a decent truck for 15k-ish to use for track days". Sounds like a good thing to do on a Monday when no one wants to work anyway!

Requirements: 6.5' bed (minimum), 4x4, automatic, Tow package

Would be nice: Supercab (not full size crew, but the little half seats/doors in the back that can be used for track day gear/ ez up, etc).

PM responded back Rob...Also, you don't want the 4.6 V8 on the F-150. They are weak and from what I read back when I was looking at my truck they aren't nearly as reliable as the 5.4.

Let me know if you want to come see it.

Not entirely true. the 09 F150, for example, had a 3 valve 4.6 making 300hp. It's what I have, and it's a good motor.

Well that has to be a different 4.6 then because the 04 and 05 F-150 with a 4.6L V8 only had about 235 hp and not ever 300 tq and gets the same gas mileage as my 5.4L

Call Fred Stoner over at Ted Britt and Chantilly. Tell him my name (that knows G3) that bought the white FX4 last year sent you and that you know Katie Stoner too... then tell him what you're looking for.
