Ooooo, rinsed with deionized water! You know it has to be hi-tech. I'll bet it's a super durable finish too.

I am sick of the chrome haters...
Especially when they say "Chrome is too heavy!"

Let me ask you this. How much weight does a quality 3 or 5 stage chrome plating add to a 17" motorcycle wheel?
Do any of you actually know?

And before Shiphteey chimes in and tells us all how he uses helium in his tires, ultra low molecular weight brake fluid and crossdrilled lines to get that pig of a zx12 over 200mph... Let me just say I don't give a fuck. good... for.... YOU! heres your cookie!

YES I understand sprung, unsprung weight, and rotational mass and its affects. I'm not understating it.

If you like chrome, knock yourself out. If it makes you happy chrome whatever you want!
That double quarter pounder with cheese you had for lunch and the shit you haven't taken will make you a slower rider than if you want to lighten your wallet to make your wheels shine!

YES I have chrome wheels on my TL, and alot of chrome bolts. I also added 2.2181863 oz of powder to my frame.

My extra weight is not making me a slower rider. I ride as fast as I want to and am not near my bikes true potential. That goes for all of us here. I see no factory riders on here and no one who can touch the lap times of one.

Chrome haters go check your air pressure.

Is that the same process they use for model car 'chrome' wheels - you know, the Revel plastic ones
