For the Caps fans - July 23, 2008, 12:21 PM

Sara and I are wanting to do an 11 game plan for the upcoming season. I just called, and for the 11 games I picked, they don't have any seats in the "attack twice" zone down low, or even side preferred seats.

I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in going in on a season ticket plan for 2 seats down low in the attack twice zone. There are seats available in sections 103 - 106. The price for 2 seats in the lower preferred section is $5100 for the season. They offer a flex pay plan, so the full amount wouldn't be due right away.

Just some quick math, 44 home games this year, 1 seat = $2550. Price per seat per game is $60. I think face value is $75.

If anyone is interested, let me know.

Hey what you may want to look into is a season ticket plan (excuse me if I don't remember allll the details) but 1/2 of your tickets are in a 100 level section and then the other half are in the 400 level and then you just sell off all the 400 level for face value or close to it.

Friend of mine has season tickets (well, through her company) in section 104 and the two wimmins sitting next to us had done that plan. They said it worked out great because they just got rid of all the 400 level tickets (because they can't make it to alllll the games anyway) and then they just split the cost of the 100 level seats between the two of them.

Not sure if they're even offering that for this season but might want to look into it if that's a plan that interests you.

Kevers, yeah, they're still offering the flex seating plan. I'm thinking about it, especially if I don't get anyone to go in on a plan with us.

Thanks.

Oh man, I wish that were in my price range... I am actually trying to get tickets up in the 400's, center ice somewhere. The fans are rowdier up there and its a better view IMO. Too many pricks sitting down low that rain on your drunk parade. But thanks for offer!

EDIT: Totnac, you need a new best friend???

We can even split the season 3 or 4 ways. I'm not looking for just one person. If there are multiple folks interested in even committing to 5 games, we could make it happen.

It doesn't get much cheaper than $60/ticket.

Amen to that folder! I sit in 121 right over the tunnel and the crowd there is more about being seen than being at a sporting event.I'm not the celebrity type, but I've seen quite a few in our section.Lindsey Zarniak(sp) has sat next to me a few times.I don't think she is hot as everyone makes her out to be,but she is pretty friendly.

ALL MY HEROES ARE RUSSIAN...GO CAPS!

Well you see, Norm, itís like thisÖA herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members. In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Now, as we know, excessive intake of alcohol kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. And that, Norm, is why you always feel smarter after a few beers.-Cliff Claven

Cool. I'm still working on getting some other people to commit, too. If I can get a few more, Sara and I are going to commit to getting a season plan this year.
