Car transport on the cheap ??? - April 2, 2007, 07:47 PM

Anyone know a car transport company or individual contractor that doesn't charge an astronomical fee coast to coast? I've got a 64 Scout in CA that is worth 1000 and I would rather not spend that getting it out here. The thing is a tank and could be dragged back to the East Coast by a herd of wild boars ( BIG ONES ) and be fine so I don't need an enlcosed trailer or anything fancy.

America... just a nation of three hundred million used car salesmen with all the money we need to buy guns and no qualms about killing anybody else in the world who tries to make us uncomfortable.

What the scooter won't tow it back here? Had too!! Try a large trucking company like J.B. Hunt. Sometimes if they have room on a tralier you can get it brought back but then you will need to arrange a rollback to meet the truck to get your truck off. This is how it used to be done awhile back.
