Car/Truck Undercoating - April 28, 2012, 08:32 AM

All,

I'm pondering getting my truck undercoated (for rust).

Have never had that done to any of my vehicles before. Any tips on what brand of spray or what company to do it in the Manassas, Area.

I did some Googling and just got a bunch of listings. Nothing really helpful to make a decision.

be careful.. A lot of them are ripoffs and you could have done a better job on your own..

I bought a car once (years ago) and stupidly paid for the dealer's "undercoating".. Then I watched as a guy took a spray can I could have bought from the store and arbitrarily aimed it around for like 30 seconds.. I think they tried to charge me like 400$ for that great effort..

I've seen dupli-color undercoating in cans for sale at advance auto. Sounds simple enough to do.
