I don't know anyone, but I think they are pretty trustworthy. I would buy a car there.

buy from CARMAX if you want to pay too much. They are overpriced. Brian works at Brown's Nissan.

flood cars, wrecked cars, paint work...
Ok time for a cheap plug... seriously I own a car lot, if you need something let me know
I can get you whatever your looking for and will make sure it is a clean car with no issues
I won't kill you either... for locates I charge a very reasonable flat rate over the actual cost of the vehicle

I don't know, the one I looked at weren't too overpriced... didn't show any signs of wreckage, just higher mileage.

I know a girl that bought a car from there that said had no body work done, but when she brought it to the house . It had front end work done. SHe brought the car back and they gave her a hard time until my roommate went in and showed them. They were clueless.

They charge more by saying their cars have never been in wrecks, but I know of at least 2 instances where bodywork was performed and they said there wasn't.

Thos e cars travel all over the country and I would be worried about flood damage to cars especially after Hurricane Katrina.

Don't get me wrong, they have good deals and to most people even the fucked ones look good. They do real good work! It just depends what you want... if you are looking for a $5,000 beater and don't care if its been wacked as long as it looks and drives good, then perfect. If you want to spend $20,000 on a late model with low miles then you probably want it to be perfect.

Thats what they do, and trust me they are only pretending to be clueless about the body work. "oh my god! it has paint work! we had no idea!"

Where's your lot? What kind of cars? Do you buy used cars?

Dee - I bought a car from Carmax when i was 17. It was a cheap $8,000 car tho. Carmax is good to go test drive b/c they have so many makes/models..then i'd try to go elsewhere once you have determined what you want.

The lots in Mt. Airy, MD about 20 mins from Frederick. I have everything from $5000 Cavaliers to $30000 350Z's. Check out my home page... the inventory is general about 3-4 days behind

for $25 you can research any used car from Carfax.

$25 bucks to check out the history is reasonable for a $20,000+ purchase.

You guys know that not every state reports to Carfax and a Carfax report only tells you if the damage was reported to ploice or insurance. It doesn't say anything about "the roll over that my buddy's uncle painted at his body shop" and never got reported. I have seen and even bought cars with perfect Carfax reports that turned out to be painted up wrecks.

Ed that only helps if the car had a claim put on it. Click on my link above to see how easy it is to get around Carfax
