Just heard about this.

I like Dale, so I'll welcome the change. Something has to happen. Our repeat, less-than-stellar, performances need to cease and maybe Dale's just the guy to make it happen.

Watched all them yesterday, though.

Redskins - Change Coach, Change Coach, Change Coach, Change Coach = Same Result
Wizards - Change Coach, Change Coach, Change Coach = Same Result
Nationals - Change Coach, Change Coach, Change Coach = Same Result

I saved them for today. Spent yesterday reading the articles and listening to 106.7 attempt to talk hockey.

It's already been different for the Capitals. Unless the end result is no championship. Then it is the same. When they went from Hanlon to Boudreau, the culture of the game in this city totally changed for the better. Hopefully with Hunter, it will progress even further.

The link to the article on Jaspers you posted had a lot of great comments on it. I spent a lot of time reading those yesterday. I can't listen to sports radio, it annoys me.

The one who knows the most about the game on that station is LaVar. The junkies are useless, Mike Wise is a huge fggt, and Dukes needs to stick to MMA and NFL.

JapersRink always has great links in the morning and the bloggers that they have there provide excellent, in depth coverage of the team. So much, in fact, that it gets too technical with fenwick% and corsi ratings and all that shit.

I won a contest and got two free tickets to any sporting event within 250 miles. I picked the caps game for tomorrow night. Me and the old lady are going to head down early and grab some food some where. Never been to a hockey game so hopefully its a good one. Floor seats so hopefully they are good.

I'm guessing by floor seats you mean on the glass. Sitting on the glass is a good experience for a first game. You will spend a lot of time following the game on the big screen because you can't see 75% of the ice from on the glass. You will have a blast and hopefully see an awesome game.

Have fun and scream very loud.
