Cheap camera store? - February 27, 2009, 09:31 AM

So my jeep was busted into monday and my camera/textbooks/notes/etc was stolen. USAA just cut me a check so I'm back to good. However, here's my dilemna. They used online prices and I leave Sunday for a week long training session with Keith Code. Obviously I want my camera but I don't want to pay an additional $100-150 if I don't have to.

Anyone know where I can get a Cannon Xsi for ~$650 or less in the DC area?

The importance of the DC area is so I can get my hands on it before sunday for my trip. It's definitely cheaper online.

my brother just muscled best buy into price matching what he found online. Might be worth a try if they have what your looking for.

You can haggle at best buy. Just bring in proof of prices from online, and they're likely to get a bit closer to the online price. I doubt they'll go all the way (ha), but you can probably get 10% off or so.

Walmart stocks the body for less than $650 with no lens. I think I saw it for $579 in the past. Call the one near you and ask them.
