Cheaper than dirt - doesnt even deserve my dirt - December 18, 2012, 09:24 PM

If you buy guns, ammo, or related products online, I would not recommend cheaper than dirt. They have made a very poor decision and don't feel they deserve to stay in business for it:

I don't care about them suspending the sales of firearms.

What pissed me off was how they jacked up hi-cap magazine prices. It's directly contrary to that graphic they posted.

No surprises. They're probably operating under the advice of council to audit their books and sales polices and tighten the language up.

Also, when doing a mass pricing change it helps to shut down your e-Commerce site for a few hours while your e-Com team works through updating all the SKUs.

At least they still have mags to sell. Almost every other online retailer is out.

Sure, they're taking backorders - if you want to wait six months.

People aren't panic buying because kids died. They're panic buying because 0bama and Feinstein and a whole host of other politicians started running their mouths.

If they had said "we're going to wait for all the facts before we see what, if any, policy changes could potentially have stopped this heinous crime and then we will act" CTD wouldn't be selling pmags for $59 and KelTec KSG's would be topping $3k on GB.

They should be able to script the price changes. Or set them up for specific dates to be effective. But hey, what would I know. Not like I wrote the product management system for a fairly big e-commerce site.

This is more of a reaction to the events of last Friday.

Can you even get a CCW in Maryland?

If you're rich, politically connected, have documented death hreats or have been mugged/raped at least twice. Blowing the governor might help as well. But the 4th district court in Richmond should drop a game changer soon. If that doesn't work, SCOTUS.

Can you carry a loaded firearm in your vehicle in Maryland?
