Chris Christie Calls for Sandy Relief - January 2, 2013, 07:37 PM

Chris Christie drops bomb on GOP leaders - CNN.com

Way to tell it like it is Christie. I may not agree with everything he says or does, but that's damn respectable; in contrast to the douchy PACs lobbying against a disaster relief bill.

He's a Republican I could genuinely not feel bad about casting a vote for if I had to vote for him vs. the alternative.

I'd even share my Twinkies with him.

“Any man who tries to be good all the time is bound to come to ruin among the great number who are not good. Hence a Prince who wants to keep his authority must learn how not to be good, and use that knowledge, or refrain from using it, as necessity requires”.

If you are living in a flood plain, you shouldn't expect federal help if a floodwater disaster transpires upon you. So move elsewhere and help yourself.

Applies to everyone living in the Mississippi floodplain BTW.

He is a fat blowhard. I would love to hear him read off his food diary. That would take more than 6 minutes.

He is a POS looking for more freaking spot light and a national position.

The problem with Chris Christie is that he does not conduct himself in an attitude of reserved restraint when on camera or in the public eye. He flies off the handle too easily. People in power see him as an emotional fat man throwing tantrums in the candy aisle and little more.

I guess because I have issues with thinking before I speak, I sympathize with him.

Christie has a valid point but went about it in the complete wrong manner. What has been missed is the Sandy relief bill was loaded down with a metric butt-ton of bullshit spending that the house refused to vote on it. Instead the house decided it would strip out all the garbage and fund the portions actually aimed at actual relief aid.

Christie should just STFU but I imagine he is either just dog-piling on the house or has some other stake in the Sandy Scam bill.

You do realize what the NY post is, right? Not saying there isn't pork there, but I'm also not wasting my time reading a citation from a sensationalist "newspaper" owned by Rupert Murdoch.

Which is why my first thought when seeing the title of the thread -
Chris Christie Calls for Sandy Relief - was "perhaps he should try washing out his mangina".

I would have a bunch more respect if he was having this conversation with Boehner and if he could push his butt away from the buffet table.

He has obvious impulse control issues and that is not the mark of a good leader.

He has a security detail. You should probably be a bit more careful.
