SO I had a Grand-Bat of a grandmother. I still didn't whip out a hammer and kill her? What kind of world needs this type of person in it? Screw this 20 years in prison and then dump them on the street bullshit. He was a convicted violent felon with a long criminal record. Perhaps making sure he didn't have access to guns, house checks, etc.

Another crazy person that should have never gotten out or be allowed to live depending on what side of the issue you come down on.

If you kill a family member with a hammer, you probably need to go.

The assailant had Bushmaster .223 — the same weapon used in the massacre in Newtown, Conn. — a Mossberg 12 gauge shotgun and a .38 caliber Smith & Wesson revolver.

Police have also released a portion of a note he left behind:
“I still have to get ready to see how much of the neighborhood I can burn down and do what I like best: killing people,”

“Any man who tries to be good all the time is bound to come to ruin among the great number who are not good. Hence a Prince who wants to keep his authority must learn how not to be good, and use that knowledge, or refrain from using it, as necessity requires”.
