Yes. I like Zino's alot. But have tried Camacho's, Don Deigo's, Punch, and afew others.
Medium gauge, maybe something like a 5 to 5.5 x 40 or 50.

I've been enjoying cigars for the past 11 years. Have smoked everything from $4 Hoyo's to beautiful boxes of Cuban Punch Punch. Currently on a CAO Brazilia kick

LOL... yeah... depends upon my mood... I am a La Gloriana Cubana fan (cuban made cigars done in florida), however I do branch out and try all kinds of others.... I worked in DC for 10 years and it was nice to have JR Cigars and the place under Camelot only a few blocks away....

I have also become a fan of the flavored Acid Cigars (yeah yeah .. the logo is an outline of a punker on a sportsbike - friends got me some for that reason)...

I will warn you that if you are going to do it daily - it will add up after a while.... I would often smoke the JR knockoffs of the LGC - they weren't as good - but they were fine as teh commutting/break cigars etc, I would save the good ones for special occasional ... JR also sells a ultimate series - gold wrapper which is reasonably priced and a great smoke for any occasion - check out http://www.jrcigars.com/

While J/R has good deals - they don't carr ALL the cigar brands - namely the ACID that I referred to above ... I shopped around and http://www.bestcigarprices.com is probably the best alternative site to find stuff for good prices.... I will usually try/buy onesey twoseys in the shops (waaaaay overpriced) and they buy em in larger groups...

There are few of us in my office that will all chip in to buys a couple of boxes and then we break em up into different bunches.. etc....

Hope it helps

brazilia is okay... you should try the italia.... amazing in comparison for me.. if you want some great go-to cigars try these:

CAO Criollo (corojo)
La Gloria Cubana Serie No. 5
5 Vegas Cask Stength (limited to 3000 boxes)
5 Vegas Classic (Great sumatra wrapper)

the cubans i have had/have consist of:
Partagas P2's
Partagas Lusitania's- a long delight.
Partagas D4's
Montecristo No. 2's--- a fav.
Montecristo No. 4's
Montecristo Edmundo-- dont buy, way too inconsistent
Hoyo Epicure No. 2- decent
Bolivar Belicoso- AMAZING
Trinidad Churchill- dry/grassy- as many tinidads seem to be now-a-days
and so on

at the moment I am having the new Perdomo Habana Series Corojo (quite decent for the price)

If you want a great cigar that smokes like a No.2 for 5 bucks a stick online, plus a great freebie deal...

amazing buy... http://www.cigarsinternational.com/p...5KA&stext=cask

ive smoked almost everything out there- a couple i havent-- mayorga, tres-mercedes, and thats about it... any questions about buying a box of something post up! id love to have a cigar thread going!

humidor, humidifier pics etc... welcome!

and yeah- JR doesnt carry some big brands... padron, perdomo, etc.... they also have some hotspots in their humidors, humidifying procedure on their side can be questionable. if you order from www.cigarsinternational.com you can get great prices! put them in the humidor for a few days/week and you will have a premium product...just have to compensate for the 2-3 day shipping period depending where u are and the season in which you buy

for what it's worth - I have gone thru allot of cigar lighters... Vector - Prometheus - etc... and they would all quit taking a butane charge after awhile... Blazer always had a good reputation - but their torch never had a cover - sit down wrong and you light your pants on fire - not good... Anyway - blazer came out with the cg001 no all that long ago and I was an early adopter... It's the best lighter I have ever had - durable/indestructable - I have charged it more time than I can count - etc. Here is what I am talking about -
http://www.blazerproducts.com/lighters/cg001.html
It's reasonably priced - under $50 buck and you can find em on ebay for 1/2 ... Great lighter.....

Yeah yeah, I know that a wooden match is best - but they suck trying to light one in the wind or in a convertible (especially when it's moving)... trust me....

Anyway, it's a great lighter

bwahahahhaa... Colbri's do indeed suck ass... I don't think I ever saw a Xikar lighter before - I went with the blazer because of the lifetime waranty and that the blazer torch was in most cigar shops I have been into - the cg001 was the same lighter in a case....

We need a trip to Dc to one of the numerous places errr now clubs that will allow cigar smoking within their establishment.....

Damn, this is what I hate about some cigar smokers -- they think they have the perfect palate. I've smoked just about everything made in the past 11 years (you were 9 y/o when I started), including the Italia, cost no object. While I appreciate recommendations and enjoy hearing about new cigars and great discoveries, I do not enjoy having someone tell me my current everyday smoke is 'okay' -- I really don't care about your opinion. Paul Garmirian you are not - and I've have had many a night smoking and arguing with him about cigars.

Cigars are like wine, everyone has a different palate and thus likes a different taste.

Cigars are an agricultural product -- they change taste as the crops change. The current Padron 1964 Annivisarios taste like crap compared to the 1995 vintage I used to get for $6/stick. Of the 30 or so Cuban labels, less than half are worth smoking due to the location the tobacco was grown on the island.

What one person finds fantastic, another will dislike.

Magazine ratings are not an indicator of quality and neither is price.

Don't tell someone their current favorite is 'okay' -- it's sophomoric.

You guys should do a cigar night at Shelly's in DC. Whisper and I go there on occasion for a cigar. Well, he smokes and I, being Cuban, enjoy the smell. I think he smokes maduros from Hoyo and RyJ's.

You definitely need to calm down. It is opinion and palate... that is how you compare share YOUR opinion, i wasnt forcing anything on anyone, and I am waiting for a response on his part. being a cigar smoker involves discussing and finding new smokes. its all part of it. you have reacted quite violently, im sure you have had people try to tell you what to smoke in the past, but its not me. So dont take it out on me. I was in no way telling him what was "Better", he told me what he likes, i told him some things that I like, and we have having good conversation because of it, its all part of the process.

everyone here is sharing some of their common smokes... and its nice, and even though you probably dont believe me, id like to hear yours too, and pretend that your rant was not directed at me. no hard feelings

As you mature you will learn how to communicate for effect. I am calm and find your statements to be sophomoric. Go back and reread my post before going off like you did.

Now tell me why they named the cigar bar in DC 'Shelly's Back Room' and where was it located before their current spot?
