COD4 Game nights - November 27, 2007, 12:19 PM

Anyone down for some COD4 tonight? I should be home around 8:30pm-9pm and will be playing COD4 until 11pm or so.

This game is so damn addictive

I am down - going to hang the Christmas lights first and should be on around 7:30-8ish.

Not trying to muck this thread, but I'm on the verge of getting a new system. I'm torn between the XB and PS3. One of the primary reasons I want to upgrade is for this particular game so I need to know if there is any better performance relative to COD4 between the two systems.

I'm bias towards the 360 as it has much better games then the PS3 but the PS3 does give you the blue raid which is nice. The Xbox you have to buy an additional external drive for the HD capability and that's $100.

For HD format yes - but the system itself will support 1080i output.

Thanks, but I mean directly with COD4. Is either platform going to have a significant difference in image quality?

The lead developers were putting primary developement into the PS3 version. It supports a larger online multiplayer ability (24 vs eighteen) and slightly brighter graphics. All in all the two are comparable, and the PC version would win against the two consoles.

I would check that same comparison for other games you are interested in, as well as the online gaming interfaces etc... If you are really torn between the two, check them out. Googling "X" Game PS3 vs 360 should yield what you need.

Harvey - "I can't date fat chicks man, there's just too much material there. Someone's gotta be thin in the relationship and it's obviously not me."
