Come Downtown This Weekend! - April 28, 2006, 10:08 AM

There is a rally to increase awareness and demonstrate our collective concern for the situation in the Darfur region of Sudan this weekend.
Check out the details here: http://www.savedarfur.org/rally/
Speakers include George Clooney, lots of congressmen, Elie Wiesel (author of night), Paul Rusesabagina (the guy who the movie Hotel Rwanda was about), and a bunch of representatives from religious and social groups. It's cool to me that you have people coming together from every point of view that I can imagine to shed some light on this genocide. Come out and check it out this Sunday afternoon.
