...but what are the open carry laws for this in VA, if any?

I wanna be able to ride to the range with it strapped to my back

oh, and if anyone knows where I can buy a UAV jammer & double tap perk for this, please let me know. (wiki links for the not so COD savvy)

WOW! That's a great question. I know for a fact if you have the pistol in a holster and it is outside your jacket in plain view it is legal. Doesnt mean you wont get stopped, but the law is on your side with that. As far as the rifle being strapped on your back...I am just not sure about that. I doubt you will make it far without people calling in Johnny Law on you and them sending a group of cars towards you as well as a helo. I just think you are asking for trouble here no matter how legal it is

Once again my usual disclaimer: I am not a lwayer and am not authorized to give legal advice. These are just my untrained opinoins. I recommend you consult a legal expert prior to any activity involving firearms.

i was waiting for you to chime in Guzz.

You forget i've been a member of VCDL for almost 2 yrs now. I'm completely aware of the VA/DC/MD handgun laws. But from my short online searches of rifles laws in VA, i couldn't find anything that really defines what you can or can't do. Maybe I'm not looking in the right place.

Chime In? Sorry. I won't answer anymore gun related questions. I am glad to know you are fully aware of the handgun laws. Congrats on your VCDL membership. We appreciate it

Try this. Walk out of your car, strap the rifle to your back and walk into payless, make sure the gun is under your shirt when you do that.
