All the Sports teams keep coming up short.
The Local government is one of the worst and most corrupt of any major city.
They have to be Champion of something.

“Any man who tries to be good all the time is bound to come to ruin among the great number who are not good. Hence a Prince who wants to keep his authority must learn how not to be good, and use that knowledge, or refrain from using it, as necessity requires”.

- Nicolo Machiavelli 1469-1527

We were by the loading dock when this dude pops out and yells "THEY TOOK ANOTHER COREY!" and started laughing as he walked off.

I asked my coworker what that guy was talking about and he told me that the guy openly surfed at work. He had been a GS civie for over 25 years so they didn't mess with him, just seized his computer and replaced it.

An acquaintance told me about a similar story that happened at NIST that did not have as good an ending for the man involved. Apparently back when everyone had to submit laptops to their respective IT offices for drive encryption, he neglected to delete a bunch of downloaded porn. The IT guys reported it, and he was offered a chance to resign and not be blacklisted in his search for another position. He was escorted out of that meeting and off the campus. He was not let back onto the property, and security handed him his belongings through the gate the next day.

That is really surprising considering how many interns there are in this town.
