i've rocked the gopro since it came out.. have just about every acc.. they make for it and have used every mount they make.. no complaints about anything. Quality is GREAT.. customer service is top notch. I've had 3 cameras replaced under warranty without questions from gopro.

tecknojoe had a contour.. non hd.. physically it is smaller and sleeker.

how'd you like that VIO? I dig everything about it except the price tag and the lack of a rechargeable battery. for the price, i might just go with this contour deal

Its not worth twice the price as the contour

the good:
it's very sleek
rugged as hell
completely waterproof
LCD screen
used double a batteries so i just used rechargable ones for like $10

the bad:
had to have a wire running from your pocket to your head
I never knew when it was on unless i took my glove off(snowboarding) and pulled the reciever out of my pocket
bulky

The contour is the clear winner for me. The switch on top means you never have to look for a fucking red light (gopro) and you never have to take it off your head.

That gopro makes you look like a total idiot when you wear it on your head.

I do like the VIO camera because it's so small - you could just tape it down to whatever instead of attaching permanent adhesive mounts and shit. But $600..

The gopro - I don't think it looks stupid but it is a lot more conspicuous than I like. Not my thing. Might grab one in the future though since you can mess with the lenses. The contour's audio seems to be the weakest link... We'll see!
