ContourHD ContourGPS 1400 Wearable Camcorder with integrated GPS FREE SHIPPING

I hate how the gopro looks like a big ol box on your bike and rather have something that looks some what integrated into the bike. I want to get two of these and mount them front and back.

The new software supposedly allows up to 32gb memory card and you can get the water tight housing at amazon for
For $28.00 "><font color=For $28.00 " /> For $28.00 ">For $28.00
"><a href=" /> ">
For $28.00 "><font color=For $28.00 " /> For $28.00 ">For $28.00
they charge 40 on contours website also with the housing you pretty much can only use the power button and the record button. it says you can only go 10 meters a little over 30 feet here are the specs from the website:

http://store.contour.com/contour-wat...-case-p17.aspx

Specs:
- Only compatible with ContourHD and ContourHD 1080p cameras.
- Compatible up to 10 meters
- Compatible with TRail mounts and/or standard 1/4-20 mounts

Also the waterproof case does not work with the new contour GPS

I have had a friend who took my contour in the water proof case down to 75 feet for about 30 minutes on a dive and it works perfectly

With Contour software, you can watch your video next to an interactive map, which also shows speed and elevation throughout the video, giving it an unmatched feature set for a video camera.
The ContourGPS captures 1080p video with a 135 wide-angle rotating lens with no fish-eye. At only 5.2 ounces, and the TRail system, mounting the GPS Contour and shooting video in the most intense sports is a breeze. You can select between 3 resolutions, 2 frame rates, or a still photo mode.

I bought the contour1080 because of weight, and I like the contrast better than the go pro.

The fact you can use the gps model with a smart phone to adjust settings is amazing, with the 1080HD I travel with a net book on long trips for adjustments.

Footage with the waterproof case on in my opinion looks far better than the go pro.

My only beef is my lasers are not aligned properly so you need to play with it a bit to figure out how far off it is.

I used a goggle mount for this clip.
This was as sticky mount.

I have the 1080 with the waterproof case. Works great. I actually mount to my helmet in the case as it muffles a good deal of the wind noise when riding. Used it on my last scuba trip at about 40 feet with zero issues:

I dunno about you but ContourHD GPS looks like a winner to me.

Contour >> ContourGPS >> GPS Video Camera and HD Helmet Cam

Badass tracks location and speed via GPS. Even bluetooth to your iphone for visual output. Although they charge $30 for the add on

A lot of people say wind noise is an issue with the Contours, although perhaps not so much with the waterproof case on... anybody know?

I wish it was possible to swap between the GoPro's wide angle and the Contour's standard lens at will without needing 2 cams!

Ditto that was without case, it is very easy to mod the case and add a switchable external mic.... or just put foam over the mic hole.

I got the ContourHD 1080p for snowboarding. For snowboarding its hard to get the lighting dialed in. What are you guys using for motorcycle mounts?
