cool rings... - November 10, 2007, 11:23 PM

Alright drinkin on the couch a jewlery commercial comes on, it was for some ring or wedding band er somthing.

I dont even know why I started thinkin of it, I'm single and far from married. I dont really wear any jewlery and definatly not gold, but I was thinking about wedding rings...

Gold is a standard of wealth but to me titanium is so much much more exotic and "blingier". Even cooler than titanium is carbon fiber. So I googled "carbon fiber ring" and came up with these...

I though this would be a cool wedding ring

I gotta lot of things to get in line before that comes if ever.

back to my whiskey, maybe that'll bolster my manhood

Don't rush into anything.

Still have the mark, it just wont go away.

I saw ads for a ring in something like silver, pewter, whatever...

Cool thing was, the pattern was motorcycle tire tread.

Now, that, I'd wear.

Now, back to my whiskey...... No, I quit drinking hard liquor, I remember now.

Beer's cool.

Time to crash, actually.

I didn't pay for it, so she can't have half !

Those rings are cool as hell. The clear coat wears off pretty quickly if you wear it often. However in my opinion the look better once they are raw.

When it comes time for me to get hitched i think i will just get my ring tattooed on my finger.

Ok I will give you guys some info on these rings you have picked. First Carbon Fiber yea well it will come apart and be like fiberglass to your finger. So pass on that one. Second is Tungsten Carbide yes its well slowly kill you like a wife! Being a machinist this stuff is like coal to miners. We try not to get any dust or small pieces on our skin. Plus it is heavy as crap and very brittle. If you want I can give you a piece and you can find out for yourselves. Now titanium is the good stuff. Light weight and can withhold years of abuse like you will not be able to do. I have one and think it is so much better than gold or anything else. Just make sure you use a sonic cleaner to prevent bacteria from growing.

check out the carbon fiber ones. only thing is that you have to have them re-clearcoated every so many years.

What is so bad about tungsten carbide? Is it something in the metal?

Tire Rings Motorcycle Jewelry

March 27th, 2006 by Paul Crowe - "The Kneeslider"

After showing you motorcycle jewelry designed with engines and motorcycle logos itís only natural we needed rings done to carry the tire theme. These rings by Brian Bergeron Designs are made with a motorcycle tire tread design but he also does mountain bike tire rings and car tire rings. It may not be perfect for everyone but there are probably more than a few riders looking for something like this.
