Subject: Re: 1987 Honda Fat Cat TR200 - $900 (Leesburg)

I am Mr Frank Walls my son want it for a competition which they have at school.ad he have been telling about it but since i am not around to come see it i want you to get back to me with your full name address and phone number so that i will ask my friend to issue out a check or money order to you. since i am not around and very busy to come and see the bike, I'm currently running a project at hand and i cant come and see the bike now after the check clears in your bank i will ask the shipping company to come for pick up..

Full name, addy, phone number, "check that will clear" and shipping company make this stink of a scam.

Either string him along and see how long it takes before he loses interest or just do not reply.

No one signs a letter "Mr Frank Walls".

I've got stuff on CL and have been getting a ton of scammer emails.

Stuff like...

I want your "Item" and tried calling your number. If you can't even tell me what I'm selling fuck you....oh, and I didn't' list a phone number.

100% scam.
My less street savy brother almost got bit in the ass like this last week trying to sell his car on CL
Without going into the whole story, it basically ended with the bank seizing the check without explanation and telling my brother to discuss it with the person who sent him the check.

He was about to be out $2900!

You should post his email address in reply to another scam offer and let the two scammers go back and forth with each other.

I got the exact same e-mail for the CRF-50 I have up for sale.
