Cyclists...let's see your rides! + Discussion - February 6, 2009, 08:27 PM

Since cycling is one of the best ways to train for motorcycle racing let's see what everyone rides.

Here are mine...

First is my Specialized S-Works Tarmac SL Road race bike - Dura-Ace w/S-works carbon cranks/Roval E5 rims (15.1lbs w/pedals)
Second is my Felt B-12 time trial bike - Ultegra SL w/FSA crank XLAB carbon disk and Felt TTR3 40mm front (which will eventually be changed out to a Zipp or Hed3)

Honestly, if I could afford it I wouldn't even ride the tarmac since it's an actual QuickStep bike...but since I am I plan on putting it on the podium quite a bit

Here are both of mine...

The C'dale Scalpel and the Orbea Orca with full Record. I've since changed out the wheels on both. Running Mavic STs on the Scalpel and Campy Shamal Ultras on the Orca.

Yes.

I wanna camp for a weekend and ride. Dolly Sods maybe.

It's Canaan Valley, Blackwater, Davis...WV.

Oh, and consume rediculous amounts of good beer.

Well it's a little too cold for an overnight trip. Maybe a one day trip to elizabeths furnace until it warms up?

HAHAHA...I don't mean right now.

EF would be a nice day trip.

I'm heading down to Rockburn/Patapsco next week to pre-ride the course sometime if anyone wants to go.

Yeah I'm racing the NORBA opener Rockburn Reloaded on 3/21. I don't know the course, but some local friends say it's nothing special. Probably pretty boring.
