I have an '01 Trek 4900. The disc brakes saved my behind on more than one occasion. You guys are tempting me to get on the thing since I haven't rode it in almost a year. I need to get a tune up first since my shifter is acting up.

Just picked this baby up. Bought it off my friend who never rides. Got it for a steal of a price too! Trek Madone 6.9, Race X Lite components, SRAM Force stuff, Ultegra pedals, and lots of hawtness. I think it weighs about 15lbs. Skyline Drive here I come!

Thanks man, I'm real excited to start racking up the miles on this one. I don't think I have any excuses to not do the 100 mile ride for the Tour de Cure, and Team Bam Bam now!

Garmin has a forerunner which does HR, GPS, and all the other stats.

Also, I will be starting up rides at the PWC forest if anyone wants to join in. My lungs do not function well in the cold so once temps start getting above 60 degrees I will begin riding. If anyone is interested post up and I'll let you know when I'm riding. Early rides will consist of mostly spinning which will be good for novice riders and the later rides will be good for the more intermediate riders.
