Thumbs up DC High School Baseball Championships - May 21, 2012, 10:30 AM

I coach high school baseball in DC at School Without Walls SHS and also a 19U summer team. If anyone is interested this weekend on Sunday May 27th from 9-7 @ Nationals Park will be the City Championships. The day will be filled with the Public High School 'Ship, Private High School 'Ship, Public vs. Private 'Ships and also a High School All-Star game. BTW Its FREE..... Its both...it a be a public school 'ship, a private school 'ship and the winners of those play each other for the City Title.
GDS varsity looked to be 4-10 last i checked.

And to the Nats for letting you use their park vs making you guys hold it at RFK or one of the UMD's field.

Yea they used to hold them at any field until a few years ago when they decided to "jazz" it up a bit and do a "classic" at Nats park. I'm specially glad to see it progressing from when I was in HS.
