Caps in the second round
Nats tied for the best record in the league
Bullets have won 5 in a row
RG3 getting signed tomorrow

It will all come crashing down, but let's feel good for 30 seconds!

ALL MY HEROES ARE RUSSIAN...GO CAPS!

Well you see, Norm, it’s like this…A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members. In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Now, as we know, excessive intake of alcohol kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. And that, Norm, is why you always feel smarter after a few beers.-Cliff Claven

Oh, and leave it to the brothers to get the job done.
I don't follow the Caps, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who did a "Weebay" double take when Ward pulled off his helmet.

The last time I had that feeling was when I was a kid and beat Metroid, and Samus whipped off its helmet at the ending credits revealing it was a woman.

ward sucks. he's been inconsequential the entire playoffs, and he's sucked during the regular season. he's had his games here and there, but overall, suck.

However, one play can change all that and it did. hopefully he'll keep up the intensity that he was playing the last few games of the playoffs.

Last night's game was nuts. Came out hard in the first period, flattened out in the second, and picked it up again late in the third (getting shots on goal and crashing the net). Kept that momentum going into OT and Ward got the rebound.

Carrie missed this, she was all like "what happened" cause I had my mouth wide open

I turned to her and said during the second period that Ward was going to have to score for them to win, he came through in OT

"please hit me please hit me please hit me". 5 minute major and probably a suspension if he had.

Nothing ever changes for us.

I've grown accustomed to watching them display their true feelings and thoughts, then amused at their backpeddling and attempts to quickly downplay what they uttered - in public - to essentially THE WORLD.

Like this fine gentlemen from last night:

Brandon ‏ @Gaucherhockey24
Bruins lost to a dumb cotton picking purple dicked Nigger!!!! #CHOICE!!!!!

Then 30 minutes ago followed up with:
I'm sorry for my comment about Joel ward I'm not a racist person my emotions just got the best of me. Im very sorry and for hurting anyone.

Choice.
I'll remember to send him a Kwanza Card this year.

Someone needs to get a gif of Ward scoring and then celebrating afterwards and create a gif like this:

“Any man who tries to be good all the time is bound to come to ruin among the great number who are not good. Hence a Prince who wants to keep his authority must learn how not to be good, and use that knowledge, or refrain from using it, as necessity requires”.

No surprise. Especially since it involves a team in Boston. Boston has a reputation for being highly racist. The country will never rid itself of racism and bigotry; realizing it exists and making a big deal out every occurrence are two different things.
