DCSB.net... anti police? Annoying...btw - May 8, 2010, 10:54 AM

The title pretty much covers it.

I'm not an over the top police supporter in any way... but everybody has a job to do. There's good and bad in every field.
Bikers as a group get plenty of bad press from the rotten apples in our bunch.

Maybe I'm just starved for actual motorcycle content, but enough with the "fuck the police" threads already.

Yes, I didn see the Hero Cop thread the other day, but the over whelming flavor of police related posts is pretty negative.

I understand no body likes cops when they are getting pulled over, but how bout when they find your stolen bike. It is what it is. Half these "tragic" interactions that get posted could have been avoided by just walking the line.

I'm not a saint, but I do what I do knowing I have no one to blame but myself. I speed trip digits all the time, if I get pulled over, arrested, locked up, what ever... I'm not gonna bitch about what an asshole the cop was! You look for trouble you find it.
I'm never gonna get shot for throwing a snowball or firing a water pistol at a cop... cause I don't look for trouble. A swat team is never going to bust in my front door and shoot my dog... because I don't ever use, handle, sell, or deal in drugs or any other illegal contraband. I'm never going get my head stomped at a riot for doing nothing, because I'm not going to be at a riot "doing nothing."

I'm not trying to justify any one's actions... but it most cases if you look for trouble... you find it. It may be extreme, excessive, or unjustified trouble... but you looked for some trouble and got more than you could handle... tough shit.

If you are starved for motorcycle content, maybe you should stay out of the non-motorcycle forum............

But see the people arent making random threads saying the police are pigs, rogue, and foul. No one has made a post simply to say they dont like police. They are actually posting actual incidents, FACTS, that happened by police, and simply displaying their anger for police acting like this. If the cops did no wrong, we would have nothing to post about.

I hear your life, but everybody has different situations in theirs. The only trouble that dude did was put some harmless water on a shirt. It wasnt even punch so it wouldnt stain. The water would dry out on its own in about an hour. But he looked for WATER trouble, and got shot in the neck and KILLED, tough shit huh?

You have no soul

Cypress Hill is black?

Rage against the Machine is black?

Interesting.... What is "black" music? What categorizes it even if the musicians making the music are not black? Please enlighten us in your ever failing wisdom or lack thereof?

I see both sides represented, although not equally. On the one hand, I think the cop-bashing goes a little too far, as in into the realm of non-thinking people. But on the other, this ain't a fraternal order of police website either.

I always give police officers the benefit of the doubt, and I always comply and remain courteous when interacting with them. In return I've been treated with both respect and disdain, probably equally as often. In the end, these are men and women that have high-risk jobs involving dealing with the stupidest people humankind can produce so I try to not get too bent out of shape when one behaves like an asshat.

How's my posting? Please direct all concerns and inquiries to DCSBN's chief content manager, Hollywood, via PM.
