We'll see at what price the cost of this move shall be for the consumers. Right now we ( America ) should be more concerned with refinery production, updating, and new facility construction than OPEC. The largest problem for us as a country is our demand for refined oil, not crude oil. Our refineries can't keep up, plain and simple.

I totally agree that the refining capacity of our nation is in a horrible state of repair. The actions of the Saudi's turn Opec into a paper tiger. What makes it even more interesting is this takes away Opec's hold on Saudi light crude which is a preferable light sweet crude. My question would be in light of the Saudi's pull out from Opec does that mean you will no longer need an Aramco buyer number to purchase from the Saudi's. Let's hope the Iranians do not go back to the policy of the 1980's of using light water craft to interupt tanker's thru the Straight of Hormuz. Could be something major here in a US policy and regional stratagy mindset.

When I came to, the general back-alley ambience of the suite was so rotten, so incredibly foul. How long had I been lying there? All these signs of violence. What had happened? There was evidence in this room of excessive consumption of almost every type of drug known to civilized man since 1544 AD. What kind of addict would need all these coconut husks and crushed honeydew rinds? Would the presence of junkies account for all these uneaten french fries? These puddles of glazed ketchup on the bureau? Maybe so. But then why all this booze? And these crude pornographic photos smeared with mustard that had dried to a hard yellow crust? These were not the hoofprints of your average God-fearing junky. It was too savage. Too aggressive.
