Yer all fucking computer dorks. That said, a few weeks ago, I bought the MSi Wind netbook....it has the bluetooth, 10 inch screen, a built-in webcam and 160gb harddrive, not to mention a keyboard I can actually use with my freakishly large hands. Definitely needs a 9 cell battery for the extend battery life (ebay has 'em for $75) so I'm clearly going to buy one....

Other than that, I love it, except the wife keeps taking it from me to surf the net while we are on vacation....dammit.

Apparently the only SSD drives that fit in this thing are RunCore SSDs. They are faster (almost twice) as the dell SSDs.

http://www.mydigitaldiscount.com/Cat...i+9+PCI-e+SSDs

Unfortunately they are backordered. However since its gonna take 3 weeks to get the dells in the first place, hopefully they will ship before then. I already ordered a 32GB one.

The new egg deal was a one day thing. You could save $15 by packaging the memory and the external DVD burner. I'll post another if I find it.

Apparently the runcores are in stock again

Ordered my 32gig today!

So I'm getting a bit out of control waiting for my mini.

I bought:

32GB SDHC card to double storage
2GB DDR2 RAMs
eBay Car charger
unlocked USB mobile broadband card (fuck AT&T and their lack of iPhone tethering)

I've gotten everything ready for my OS X 10.5 hackentosh mini job
-OSX image loaded on USB drive
-Bootloader
-DellEFI app package
-syslinux app
-etc

As soon as I get this bad boy she is going under the knife. The GF knows that she won't have a boyfriend for 2 nights

Using mine now also. I do like Ubuntu and I have it installed on my big laptop also (second boot with Vista). I am debating if I want to install OS X. It would be nice to have a Mac though without having to lug around the MacBook Pro.

Decisions, decisions.

RAM is installed and the SD card inserted.
